Michael Catt has been pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church since 1989. He and his wife Terri have two children, Erin and Hayley. Terri and Michael were married in 1974. 

Michael is a graduate of Mississippi College. He attended New Orleans Seminary and holds a Masters of Divinity from Luther Rice Bible Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary. Prior to the pastorate, Michael was in Student and Youth Ministry for fifteen years.
