About the Author

Osborne, Tom

Thomas William "Tom" Osborne born February 23, 1937 in Hastings, Nebraska is the Athletic Director at the University of Nebraska. He was the head coach of the Cornhuskers football team since 1973. After coaching, Osborne was elected to Congress in 2000 and served six years in the United States House of Representatives as a Republican from Nebraska's 3rd congressional district. Married to Nancy and they have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
